Gojira
The South Pacific was ravaged with radiation at the dawn of a new era. Mushroom clouds reached high into the atmosphere and radiation spread through the air, spreading disease, death and wrought deformities to nature's beautiful inhabitants. This act of arrogant recklessness could not go unpunished.
Islanders practiced their exotic dance as was custom, unknowing of the storm brewing just out of sight. The islanders were making an attempt to please a mysterious deity looming in their waters. Those of the modern world disregarded the beast, assuming it to be legend, unaware of the leviathan looming off shore.
The night brought a mighty typhoon to the village, but after that night, the natives claimed that there was something else inside that storm. Something that had come to claim the life it was denied only a short time ago.
Clean up began with the break of day. But it wasn't long afterwards that warning bells sounded; that the islanders picked up their weapons and marched to meet the threat head-on, taking no heed to the monstrous footprints left in their very village. The natives rushed up a hillside to the legendary saurian, but it was first to the summit. The monster's head towered over the summit, roaring down in fury at those who dare to oppose it. Those fortunate enough to have them dropped their rifles and fled.
When next the monster appeared, it would shock the world. The monstrous behemoth swam ashore to Tokyo, were it set to work destroying the city. Tanks and shells were useless, all anyone could do was wait for the monster to return to the sea. When at last Godzilla slept at in the ocean's depth, construction crews built massive high-tension towers, in hope of repelling the creature via electric shock should it return. And return it did. The massive beast again attacked. When confronted by the high-tension wires the monster deployed another surprise attack. The massive leviathan expelled a beam of intense heat unto the towers, melting them away. Godzilla ravaged Tokyo unopposed. At last the creature met its end by a new weapon, the Oxygen Destroyer. But, in fear of his new device being made into a weapon, its creator burned his research and killed himself alongside Godzilla.

The Second Godzilla, another member of the same species mutated in a similar manner. It was first sighted on a rocky, barren island battling its natural born foe, Anguirus. The battle took the two to Osaka, were at last Anguirus was vanquished. The monster later appeared on a glacier island, which the military took advantage of, using their bombs to create avelanches to imprison the king of monsters. Slowly the monster generated massive heat, breaking a glacier away from the main island to float out at sea. At last Godzilla's thermal nuclear energy freed the titan, and with its renewed freedom set out to Japan.
Meanwhile a good-for-nothing industrialist set out a team to try and capture the island god of a primitive village. The god turned out to be a monstrous ape, grown to monstrous proportions from the effect of an abnormal red berry. The monster was captured and taken from the island, but escaped while at sea and set out to Japan of its own accord. The ape was then captured after it attacked a populated area and was turned into the military's tool. The creature was forced into a cronfrontation with nuclear leviathan and a fight between Godzilla and the new mosnter dubbed "King Kong" ensued. Kong tied with his foe, then swam back to his island while Godzilla was trapped underground by a freak earthquake.
It wasn't long until the monster again returned, drawn to combat by the presence of its foe, Mothra. Godzilla killed Mothra but was then defeated by her twin offspring. In the years to follow the monster again returned to aid Mothra and Rodan in defeating the space monster,King Ghidorah.

Television Series Featured in: Zone Fighter The same Godzilla from his previous incarnation except- he seems to have mutated further as electrical energy, what once caused him harm, he can now utilize to his full advantage. It's really unsure as to when this development occured, and we can only guess as to when this transformation had taken place. Godzilla was last seen disappearing into the sea after his battle with MechaGodzilla.
